thank you!I need some advice/help. *guinea pigs*?
My apologies to the poster who suggested you take the pig, but I'd wait until you get your dad's permission. If you do take it, what will you do if your dad says no? Won't you get attached to it? Do you really want to take it to a shelter if you can't find anyone to take it? Do you want to put the pig through the trauma of going to a third home within weeks?
It might irrelevant anyway, because you don't know if the neighbor still has them.
Like I tell people who want us to put a hold on a dog that is up for adoption at an off-site facility: if you're supposed to get that particular pet, it will be available; if it's not, there's a better pet for you right around the corner.I need some advice/help. *guinea pigs*?
If you have the opportunity to take the guinea pig before your dad answers I would go ahead and accept him. If your dad texts you and says he doesn't want you to have another it will still be just as easy to find another home for him, but he'll have a great home while waiting.
I honestly have never heard of someone being allergic to Guinea Pigs but I guess they can be I never thought of it before.
Take them I guess. Guinea Pigs are no big deal, they dont cost much to take care of them and they dont really do all that much.
