Get a CHI straightener, get some CHI thermal-protectant products, and you're good. If you don't want the CHI products, get a straightner that'll reach 400 degrees or more and use Ojon shampoo and conditioner. Dry/damaged hair is a MAJOR cause for frizz but people always blame it on their hair type or texture. Ojon products will hydrate and control your hair like crazy. Also try olive oil and coconut oil, perferably virgin oil, but if you must, use a product with a lot of olive and/or coconut oil in it to straighten your hair. Also, shine serums control frizz and add shine. Shine is really important to hair because it gets rid of the damaged, coarse, and frizzy look hair may have. Good luck.So sick of this curly hair.. need big sister advice.. help if you can..?
Step1

Use a shampoo and conditioner to help you control frizz and get straight hair. You can purchase shampoos and conditioners specifically formulated to tame frizz, create sleek and smooth hair or to make hair straight.

Step2

Blow-dry your hair with a round hairbrush to help make hair straight and non-frizzy. Look for aceramic, ionic or tourmaline hairdryer at any beauty supply store. These types of hairdryers control frizz and are less damaging to hair during the drying process.

Step3

Separate your hair into sections and roll each section of hair around a hairbrush that is round. Pull the hair taut and blow the hot hair from the dryer down onto the hairbrush to create straight hair and tame frizz.

Step4

Flat-iron your hair to make it straight and control frizz. Ceramic, tourmaline or ionic flat irons are all good choices. Iron small sections of your hair at a time to create straight hair and tame frizz.

Step5

Apply specialty hair care products to your hair. Look for hair serums, hairsprays, mousse or styling gel that handle frizzy hair and help make your locks more manageable.

Step6

Check out related eHow article titled ';How to Fix Frizzy Hair'; if you aren't able to create the non-frizzy, straight hair you'd love to have. (See link in Resources.) You might get some new ideas on fixing your hair.
Honestly if you have a good straightener you should be able to tame your hair with a little bit of smoothing serum and a good round brush.

Step one always keep your hair washed and silky soft ... shampoo and conditioners depend on your hair type and thickness and your budget of course... and location. I live in aussie and i dont stress too much on the brand but i look into trying a few different shampoos and conditioners until i find one that makes my hair more manageable than the rest.

Step two. Use your hair straightener slowly. If you try to rush it your only going to have crinkles and frizz everywhere. If you take your time for each section of hair. Essentially that should flatten and smooth your hair.

Step three. Keep it tidy and style it. Use the hair strightener to create little waves or lifts or volume. Then apply smoothing serum and some hairspray once your done.
i feel for you hunny.if your hair was anything like mine i know what you are going through.i tried hundreds of dollars worth of products and straightners.my hair was also thick so no matter what i did it was never the way i wanted.everyone told me all the time that they wish they could have my hair.so the only thing i did was i chopped it off.i have a short spiked messy look.i love it.instead of 2 hours trying to straight my hair it takes 10 minutes to put gel and hairspray and im done.like i kept saying ..it will grow back if i dont like it.its been a year and never thought once about growing it back.
when i straighten my hair i usually hold the straightener down for five seconds on sections of my hair..the best shampoo probably is sunsilk straighten up(in the purple bottle)...and you could use the sunsilk heat creme stuff if u didnt want to dry your hair...pantene is also really good..also heres a video that helps my hair be straight even though its straight already..lol...heres the vid :http://www.videojug.com/film/how-to-blow鈥?/a>
put in some straightening mouse, cream, etc.(i really recomend pantene) then have your mom or sumone else blow dry ur hair straight with a round brush. then, smooth it all out with a ceramic/tourmaline straightener. if you want, you can smooth in sum polishing serum ater you straighten, but only one drop so ur hairr dosnt get greasy!

hope this helps!!!!!
Straightening Balms or Gels usually gives

curly hair texture, apply it after shampooing

let the hair air dry with the balm then use

either a curling iron straightening iron to style, if not you can blow dry then style.
I don't know what kind of straightener you have- but you can buy a Chi Straightener and it will make your hair very silky.

They are expensive, but totally worth it. You can buy them online or at any hair product store.
Blow dry it straight, then straighten it! That simple! But make sure you use heat protectant spray!

pantene pro-v shine serum works very nice for frizzy hair, it make hair appear much shinier as well . all shine serums will work good, and most don't differ between product . good luck !
i use frizz-ease leave in conditioning spray from the john frieda collection after i shower, and it really helps.
Chi Straighteners are the best!! And Chi Hair products are the best for preparing your hair to be straight!!
I know where you come from because i have extremely curly hair.

There is a hair straightener called the Sedu.

It is MUCH better than the Chi because CHI's do not last long. Don't listen to those that tell you its the best because they break WAY too easily, trust me. Sedu is the best straighteners out there and it is only $100...

it is SO worth it.

It leaves my hair very straight, silky, shiny, and OH so healthy!

It even cut my straightening time in HALF. It is available on Folica.com, the webs most popular beauty store.

It is completely safe,i purchased mine about 1 month ago and i LOVE IT.

And by the way, did i mention it is the straightener Jennifer Aniston uses? see her http://www.sedu-hairstyle.net/

Well it is!and not only her, most celebrities, probably the one in that pic too!

I mean if you search the web for Sedu hairstyles, it gives you a how-to on Jen's hair. Scroll down here http://www.sedu-hairstyle.net/seduhowto.鈥?/a>

You could go to Sedubeauty.com to see before after pics and a lot more. It also has tempature control which the chi doesnt have and it reaches 410 degrees!

Not only that, but you can even CURL your hair after you straighten it if you would like. The 1 inch is better for that. overall i reccomend a 1 inch. The curls are so gorgeous, its unbelievable! Seriously, if you read the stats on folica.com, it shows how unbelievably popular Sedu is, more popular than Chi and better.

Sedu is the BEST straightener you could possibly get right now and it has been that way. for products, the chi silk infusion is a really good serum and so is the shine spray.

So, goodluck if you ever decide to get it :]
