im using vitamin e (natural form) for my skin, wondering if 3x400iu capsules would be the same as using one 1200iu capsules.Vitamin e iu advice please help?
Yes it would !!Vitamin e iu advice please help?
No, it's not the same. Research has time and again proven that low doses work better.
For example your body can only absorb 600mg of calcium at a time. You need 1200mg a day. If you take one pill of 1200mg it defeats its purpose, body can't work with that.
Vitamin E prevents wrinkles. If you take 1200 iu's say at 8am by 5pm you have none in your system. If you give it to your body 3 x a day, it's got a continuous stream of the beneficial antioxidant. Logically what do you think is best?! Besides fat soluble vitamins (A, D, E) can be toxic at high does. If you take 1200 IU you might overload your system needlessly.
Hope this helps!
Yes, but that is a TREMENDOUS amount of vitamin E - and without a physician prescribing it (and at that level, it IS a drug) I wouldn't suggest it. It can lead to a host of other issues.
Yes it would
FYI - there have been recent warnings that Vit E supplementation over 400iu a day could be hazardous to your health. Haven't had time to sift through the research to see if it is a bunch of pharma co nonsense or not. Just so you know. . . ..
Please any vitamin E that you use has to be 100% vegeterian. did you know that vitamin E is a by-product of Oil, the same kind that is use to make gasoline for your car?
Yes it would. You may also want to try fish oil and flaxseed oil and then of course drink lots of water so you stay hydrated, which helps your skin.
yep! you can also buy it in bottles from holland %26amp; barratt, which i find easier and less messy to use :)
