Please help!!! Going out of state for three months need packing advice. HELP?

I will be on an out of state internship. I need some help on how to pack and prepare for my trip! If you have been on extended business trips or have gone on a long vacation and have lived out of luggage please give me some advice. I will have free time though as well. Its over the summer so the weather should be nice where ever I go. The state is TBD and I should pack for all weather. How should I prepare? I need some example of packing list. I will be out of my lease so I dont need to worry about that. I am really worried April will sneak up on me and I wont have any clue of what to take. Any suggestions or tips will be greatly appreciated! I am really begging. Thank you! Please help!!! Going out of state for three months need packing advice. HELP?
Pack very, very light. One suitcase max. If you forgot anything, we have this special place you can pick up what you really, really need. They are almost everywhere.

We call it Wal-Mart.

But if you don't have it, you can be amazed how unimportant it really was.

I did a road trip across the USA last summer, coast to coast and did it all with the carry on bag I took with me because I had to fly back. Please help!!! Going out of state for three months need packing advice. HELP?
take a medium bag/suitcase. i travelled in s.e. asia for six months with one small backpack. it helps to get organized with the packing... i use gallon ziplock bags and a sharpie...

one bag, labeled for each type of item, push the air out, seal. also roll things tightly to conserve space. ie: one bag for t-shirts: should fit about 4 or 5, if the other ones dont fit, leave them at home.

there are laundry facilities around but i bring woolite with me and wash some things in the sink.

-shirts

-pants/skirts

-jacket and hoodie

-swimsuit

-exercise/hiking around town clothes

-underwear, socks

-camera

-pj's

-shoes: 1 professional/going out-ish; 1 practical/athletic

if you forget something, not the end of the world... it can always be replaced. also, if you are staying at a hotel, find out what one and call to see what ammenities they have, ie: hairdryer/ laundry service.
