omg same here ! well i don't have a boyfriend at the moment, but i have close friends. Today is new years eve and me and my girlfriends were gonna see the fireworks, but my parents didn't let me because they say its family time. omg out of all the days, they picked the best one ! Well i started to think about it , i guess they're afraid to loose us and are scared that we may outgrow them. I mean i sorta did, but that doesn't mean i don't like to hang out with them adlease once a week for coffee or something. What i do is spend a day with them before i go out. It works because they can't say family time because family time was yesterday. Cheers
Invite your boy over to meet the family.


You can hang out with them all for a while. play games. talk or what ev and finally there is always a time where you two can sneak off to your room, upstairs, or whereever...to be alone with him.





Plus. If he wants to be with the fam too you know hes a good hearted boy! :)
write them a letter. this lays out all your feelings for them and gives you the opportunity to think about what you want to say to them without them trying to interrupt you. works every time for me. let them know how you are feeling. tell them they're being selfish for making you hang out with them all the time and that you need to have a social life.
